1. The direction of the manuscript. The editorial board of the online edition of the Science Society Defense publishes a manuscript (electronic file) with a volume of no more than one author's sheet (40 thousand characters with spaces), typed in a Times New Roman font of the 14th size with a 1.5-meter line spacing.
Tables are made out in a separate file in the format of a picture or an image.
The text of the manuscript is accompanied by a scientific reference manual recruited in manual mode:
The network publication "Science, Society, Defense" publishes only those materials and documents in which there is an address of the author (postal or e-mail), academic degree, academic title, telephone number, his full position, job, surname, name, patronymic, (for military personnel - military rank), the number, month and year of birth. Authors should provide a brief annotation for their material and keywords in Russian and English, as well as contact information for correspondence, which will be placed in the publication.
Authors can send their manuscripts to the e-mail address of the publication.

3. Reviewing manuscripts
3.1. The publication reviews all materials coming to the editorial board that are relevant to its subject matter, with a view to their expert evaluation. All reviewers are recognized experts on the topic of peer-reviewed materials and have published in the last 3 years on the subject of the article being reviewed. The reviews are kept in the publishing house and in the editorial office of the publication for 5 years.
3.2. After receipt of the electronic version of the manuscript, the editorial team is reviewed by the editor in chief. If the material does not contradict the requirements of the Law on Mass Media and the information policy of the publication, it is published on the relevant pages on the subject and headings.
3.3. At least 30 days a manuscript is in the public domain.
3.4. Based on the results of the peer review (using the comments field) and the closed (by e-mail and postal address of the editorial office), the decision on the manuscript is taken with the participation of the members of the editorial board of the publication:
3.5. The editors of the publication send copies of reviews or motivated refusals to the authors of the submitted materials, and also undertakes to send copies of the reviews to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation upon receipt of the corresponding request to the editorial office.
3.6. In accordance with the current legislation, the editors have the right not to enter into correspondence with authors, manuscripts, materials sent to the editorial office and electronic media do not return.
4. Publication of the article.
4.1. Responsibility for the reliability of information, the accuracy of figures and citations, as well as for the fact that the materials do not have data not subject to public publication, are the authors.
4.2. The editorial position does not necessarily coincide with the point of view of the authors.
4.3. After publication, the next issue is sent for placement in the Scientific Electronic Library (eLibrary) and accounting in the system of the Russian Scientific Citation Index (RINC).
4.4. When reprinting materials, a reference to "Science, Society, Defense" is mandatory.
4.5. The royalties are not paid.
4.6. Post-graduate fees are not charged for the publication of manuscripts.
