After receipt of the electronic version of the manuscript, the editorial team is reviewed by the editor in chief. If the material does not contradict the requirements of the Law on Mass Media and the information policy of the publication, it is published on the relevant pages on the subject and headings.

At least 30 days a manuscript is in the public domain.

Based on the results of the peer review (using the comments field) and the closed (by e-mail and postal address of the editorial office), the decision on the manuscript is taken with the participation of the members of the editorial board of the publication:

• publish in one of the issues of the scientific online publication "Science, Society, Defense";
• send the author for revision;
• otkazat in the publication in the numbers of the scientific online publication "Science, Society, Defense", sending the author a motivated refusal.

Without fail the editorial staff provides reviews on the requests of the authors of the manuscripts and expert councils in the Higher Attestation Commission.
